Position Summary:
The PPW Program provides 24/7 residential treatment services to pregnant women and/or women with children that are involved with DCFS or may become involved with DCFS due to their use of drugs and/or alcohol. The Women’s Program Coordinator (WPC) is responsible for implementing the program in collaboration with the Clinical Director, Childrens Programs Coordinator and leadership team. Ensures on-going effective communication between TNC Continuum, Women’s and Children’s program and works collaboratively with the Childrens Program Coordinator on project implementation.
The Women’s Program Coordinator (WPC) ensures all start-up activities are carried out within required timeframes. The WPC works with the Ness Center’s Leadership team to ensure day-to-day functional operations meet or exceed outlined service provisions. Significant aspects of the work include operating under the direction of the Clinical Director; leading the PPW programs implementation. The WPC ensures staff understand and apply program policies and procedures, supervising direct care staff to ensure understanding and completion of duties and responsibilities, assist with program referral and intake to ensure proper placement within the continuum, outreach/marketing, and development of effective working relationships with other community agencies, assisting with service auditing, data review and reporting as needed.
Implementation Duties/Responsibilities:
· Implement the Women’s program under the Clinical director based on TNC PPW Proposal
· Assist the Clinical Director in reviewing resumes, interviews, and on-boarding and training of staff
· Lead start-up efforts to ensure the program timelines are adhered to and met
· Ensure operations are effectively implemented based on direction from the clinical director
· Work directly with the clinical director to ensure operational and clinical processes are implemented based on grant required activities and TNC PPW Proposal.
· Develop and oversee schedules including but not limited to ADL staff, PRN and relief staff, Transportation and on-call rotation schedules.
Operational/Clinical Responsibilities:
· Implement the process provided by the clinical director for screening, assessment, and treatment planning
· Ensure Residential program operations are in line with state licensing guidelines, fire marshal rules and federal guidelines
· Work directly with leadership and evaluator to ensure the electronic health record is updated with the ASAM 3.1 & 3.3 levels of care and programming. Then provide support to staff and present audit findings to Clinical Director.
Other Responsibilities:
· Partner with Clinical Director in facilitating regular staff meetings
· Perform program marketing, community outreach and education about The Ness Center’s continuum & PPW Program
· Attend in-house consumer community meetings to glean and relay ideas, concerns, and themes
· Participate in on-call and late day rotations as part of management oversight
· Ensure proper direct service staffing for program (within budget)
· Assist leadership with development of budget around direct service staffing needs and supplies
· Maintain staffing schedule and utilization reports
· Complete related duties as needed or assigned
Education/Experience:
Required: Must Possess a Maters degree from an accrediated Institution in social work, psychology, counseling, and or addiction counesling with appropriate licensure to practice in the State of Louisiana: LPC, PLPC; LCSW LMSW, LAC, CAC and a minimium of two years of experience with working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Work history must reflect roles working with individuals with domestic violence, probation and parole, child/family services and residential treatment programs. Prior experience in a supervisory role required.
Perferred: Background working in grant start-up/implementation and or operations highly perferred.

Physical Demands: Ability to walk up and down stairs as some program services or office spaces may be located on a second floor; Ability to safely operate a vehicle; Ability to complete desk work (e.g., typing, paperwork review, and/or operate at a computer station for extensive periods of time
Work Demands/Environment: On-Site. Available to work flexible hours at The Ness Center (e.g., residential component is 24/7; weekend hours for groups; staggered shift availability) etc.
The PPW Women’s Coordinator Work hours will vary to overlap some early mornings, late events and weekends, to monitor staff.
On call rotation required. Flexibility to work from or travel to and from various facilities as needed and telehealth may be required to effectively meet with others within the continuum of care.
