As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective maintenance and repair of all equipment located throughout the facility. You will directly supervise approximately 8-15 union hourly employees and will effectively organize, direct, coordinate, and manage diversified subordinates to assure integrity of assets having direct impact on the maintenance budget. As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will actively participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and problem-solving activities to ensure the highest possible efficiency of equipment within the facility.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure efficient equipment operation and increase equipment reliability wherever possible.
- Supervise, schedule, and direct the activities of union hourly employees in their performance including cross training to broaden skills and qualifications.
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance and lubrication programs.
- Perform estimating and planning work such as development of sketches, material listings, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate installation and maintenance of equipment in the most efficient manner.
- Ensure that all members of the maintenance department are properly trained in safety procedures and Total Quality Maintenance.
- Provide guidance and coaching, employee scheduling, evaluation, and development for team members.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience (Years/Type):
- 1 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, or military environment OR two year technical degree.
