Role: Financial Reporting Data Analyst
Location: Irving, TX (Onsite in Irving 5 days/week)
Duration: 3-6 Months contract to hire
Qualifications:
Candidate must have knowledge in the accounting and inventory, need to be advanced in Excel. PowerBI experience is preferred
Bachelors/ 4 Year Degree Accounting, Finance or other financial field
Inventory Accounting Processes, GAAP & Financial Reporting
Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power BI
Strong analytical knowledge, comprehensive understanding of retail business acumen to analyze and develop financial reports
Hands-on experience with numerous data sources (structured & unstructured) as well as manages multiple projects concurrently
Excellent interpersonal skills; articulate communicator with thorough understanding of GAAP related to financial reporting
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in team environments
o Seeking strong analytical accountant/finance professionals with heavy Excel skills that can execute sophisticated formulas to create insights from data. Need to be able to get through the forest to identify the key trees causing problems.
o Qualified Candidates should have general business experience, including ability to extrapolate data including Loss Reporting for the Asset Protection team (retail experience is preferred)
