Job Title: Technical Business Systems Analyst / BOM Data Analyst
Location: Hybrid (Should be onsite 3 days a week in Peoria, IL), Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are the onsite days.
Type: Contract (12 Months)

Summary:

• The main function of the BOM Data Analyst is to cleanse and validate Bill of material (BOM) data for client Products (Heavy Machinery). The BOM analyst will use SQL in a Snowflake database to retrieve historical BOM data and transform it into an established structure. This will require strong SQL skills and occasional use of script languages and regular expressions. The analyst will also validate that they BOM data was successfully transformed and stored. They will also use their knowledge of client Products (Heavy Machinery) and mechanical components to validate the completeness of BOM Data. The BOM Analyst will work with the As-Built BOM manager to determine the proper methods to achieve results.

Position's Contributions to Work Group:

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years' experience.
• Associates/ No college degree with a minimum of 9 years of experience in this capacity.

Technical Skills:
(Required)

• SQL experience (5 years at a minimum).
• Experience with client Products (Heavy Machinery).
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• SQL, Snowflake
• Scripting experience in Perl, Python, R or Regular expressions are bonuses.
• Experience with product structure and engineering bill of materials
• Knowledge of client Products (Heavy Machinery) and components to validate the completeness of engineering bill of materials
