Job Description
We have an opportunity for a ServiceNow Architect to join out talented team. The architect shall lead the investigation of legacy system data, design new data models, develop the data migration plan and guide the data migration process. Also, leading the development of technical architecture, approach, design of the system as well as ensuring developers are building the application to standards. The candidate shall also consider all the requirements and implement a flexible and scalable data model that can accommodate future changes and growth of the data.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Proven experience as the lead technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring, perform peer code reviews, and ensure the ServiceNow team follows software development best-practices
- Experience leveraging MID Servers for integration and automation
- Prepare and present client facing and internal deliverables that are technology related
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs that represent actionable development tasks
- Collaborate with System Administrators and ServiceNow Support concerning strategies and technical aspects of platform upgrades
- Oversee major version upgrades and install patches
- Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include new or modifications to applications, forms, workflow, policies, actions, access control, interfaces and any other configurations required to support client processes
- Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes and performing root cause analysis
- Provide operational support for Management Information Systems (MIS)
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- 6 years of hands on experience as Servicenow Architect
- Proven work experience in a similar role
- 6 years of Servicnow Development experience
- In-depth understanding of database structure principles
- Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
- Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
- Experience with front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Experience with custom REST/SOAP APIs (webservices)
- Experience with interfacing with 4 systems inbound/outbound)
- Experience with leading and managing developers
- US Citizenship
