Solutions Manager, Senior (NJUS)

The Solutions Manager, Sr. is a critical and specialized role within Global Travel and Logistics and works within the business to provide execution leadership for specific business processes or technology changes. Influences the direction and provides insight for delivery of business process changes and for technology implementations to ensure business readiness. Leads and coordinates communication, training, and status for business partners. Influences and works with technology to understand business features and capability needs. Prepares the business for changes and ensures roles and processes are well understood and documented. Provides global strategy for communication, processes, and training. Ability to identify, engage, and facilitate effective collaboration across all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure overall project success.

• Accountable for the business coordination and execution associated with business process and technology changes.
• Owns documentation of business feature requirements and communicates those needs to delivery stakeholders in the organization, including impacted businesses and technology.
• Manages across the business to understand business needs and translate those into digestible information for the technology organization.
• Creates and builds partnerships with technology to create an execution roadmap about specific business needs and capabilities. Leverages the agile framework to build delivery timelines that align to business changes.
• Leverages business knowledge to influence business process changes and recommendations.
• Leads and demonstrates a strong discipline for documentation and holds others accountable for delivery.
• Leverages financial and KPI goals to drive changes and implementations that provide business benefit.
• May be part of a broader team and leads others to ensure a comprehensive roadmap and plan for the business unit that extends beyond technology deliverables.
• Executes against a business roadmap that leverages key partners across the organization.
• Drives organizational change management activities to ensure the success of change implementation including process documentation, testing and training.
• Influences automation of purchasing, catalog management, user interface to consume and collaboration with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) across the global enterprise.

• Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise and proven record of agile and program management delivery.
• Uses sophisticated and analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovation solutions to solve, execute and drive task completion in a complex environment.
• Strong ability to document business needs and capability requirements, and map into a joint roadmap with key stakeholders for multi-faceted roadmaps. Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve processes and services.
• Communicates difficult concepts and influences others to adopt different points of view utilizing strong interpersonal skills to help negotiate delivery and implement changes within the business unit and other impacted teams.
• Proven record of executing against financial targets, KPIs, and goals that are leveraged for strategic decision making.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to elicit business and technology delivery needs that impact multiple business areas.
• Possess strong knowledge of business analysis and product management concepts with a strong understanding of how to manage effective organizational change.
• Excellent grasp of business strategy and ability to use that knowledge to make rapid tactical and strategic decisions.
