What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Netology?

We are looking for a Controller to join our growing team of professionals and enrich our finance operations including all accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting activities.
Financial Responsibilities:
(Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned)
· Invoicing/billing, customer credits, and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general and entity accounting, cost accounting, etc.
· Manage the day-to-day cash flow for the business.
· Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
· Manage payroll and track bonus and commission plans.
· Review and process expense reports.
· Monitor and maintain client contractual agreements, Service Order Forms, and contract additions and deletions.
· Track and reconcile monthly licensing and cost of goods sold.
· Files tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
· Work with the CEO to create and track company budgets.
· Work with the CEO to manage financial vendor relationships.
· Maintain financial benchmarking.
· Manage business insurance policies.
· Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
· Assure that cash and assets are maximized and controlled.
· Maintain Process Documentation and work with the team to ensure compliance.
· Participate in Leadership Strategy meetings.
· Track, manage, and reconcile sales and partner commissions.
Qualifications:
· Typically, 5 years of experience in the finance/accounting area or similar level.
· Excellent ownership, communication, and interpersonal skills - strong collaboration mindset.
· A self-motivated and proactive attitude towards researching problems and completing assignments; and effective oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize at a high level.
· Mastery of QuickBooks and bookkeeping practices.
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills, esp. Excel.
· Experience working in small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the service industry is highly desirable.
· Experience working with Autotask or ConnectWise is highly desirable.
· Experience in cash flow management, collections, and Accounts Receivable.
· Willingness to learn & develop.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
