What are the responsibilities and job description for the RCM Team Lead position at NetSmart Technologies?

Leadteam accountable formanagingday-to-day billing processes and procedures for assigned clients to ensure optimal outcomes for the financial health of bothNetsmart and our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, train, recognize and evaluate associates to foster a productive team environment

  • Build strong working relationships that balance the needs of our clients, associates and Netsmart

  • Address and effectively communicate client issues; escalate as appropriate

    Assist with forecasting appropriate staffing based on incoming work logs

  • Understand and manage to relevant performance indicators including days in A/R, cash/net revenue, A/R aging, denials management, credit balances

  • Propose, execute and complete effective KPI improvement plans

  • Complete regular and ad hoc reporting as required

  • Ensureteam meetsproductivity andquality standardsandmaintainshealthyclient relationships

Qualifications
Required

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Atleast2yearsofcustomerservice work experience.

  • At least2 years of medical billing, cash posting, and charge entry experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.

  • Working knowledge of the behavioral and/or post-acute healthcare industry

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Call center work experience

  • Activemedical coding certification

  • People management experience including staffing decisions, coaching and developing associates and providing career development planning and opportunities
