Data Science Engineer (HYBRID)

Non Negotiables: BS or MS in a technical field (computer science, data engineering, etc.), Strong analytical mindset with knowledge in data science, Exceptional problem-solving skills

Qualifications:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a comparable field.
Proven hands-on experience in DevOps and DataOps developing tools and frameworks to codify DevOps, and DataPipelines.
Proficiency in Python, including testing and code analysis tools (Pytest, Pylint).
Experience with CICD, version control, Agile and Scrum development methodologies (including Atlassian collaboration tools, Confluence and Jira).
Exposure in Database-related programming (both SQL and No-SQL)
Proven experience building cloud data systems such as Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
A demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Description:

Company's Innovative Medicine department seeks a data engineer to support the Manufacturing Science and Technology team. This position will be part of the Process Science, Modeling, and Data group and will be on a contract basis for initially 12 months. This role involves leveraging DataOps and DevOps skills to support various advanced therapy manufacturing processes. Responsibilities:
Building and implementing new code development tools and infrastructure.
Working on ways to automate and improve code development and release processes.
Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results.
Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
Develop scripts to automate ETL and data visualization.
Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures such as databases and data pipelines.
Discover opportunities for data acquisition.
Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production.
Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
