This individual will need to quickly understand Netspend programs, products and features along with how and where the underlying data is stored. Assignments are broad and complex in nature requiring originality, ingenuity, and require working under minimum supervision. To be successful, you will need to bring a diverse spectrum of skills to elicit requirements, perform data analysis, and present actionable insights from data. Responsibilities Elicit, refine, and translate requirements from a wide range of teams Technical liaison between Banking Operations and development teams. You will own the development lifecycle of recurring banking files and reports including requirements gathering, change management, troubleshooting, migrating to a new data platform, and maintaining documentation. Evaluate business requirements against existing data sources to identify gaps. Partner with data engineers to close data gaps and ensure necessary data is available for analytical use Create and execute complex queries on historical transactional and / or account activities, often under a quick deadline Identify opportunities to create automated dashboards and data visualizations to empower self service Qualifications 3 years of relevant experience in a data science, business analytics, business intelligence, or business analysis 8 years of professional work experience, preferably in the Fintech, Banking, or Finance Services industry Professional experience using advanced SQL in a cloud data warehouse environment, such as Snowflake, is an absolute must Demonstrated ability to frame complex analytical problems, pull data, and extract insights that lead to tangible results Ability to work well under pressure; manage tight deadlines and situations where conflicting priorities arise Strong working knowledge of Gsuite Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and skilled at adjusting communication style/vocabulary to an audience's role/function and technical familiarity Proficiency with visualization platforms such as Tableau, QlikSense, PowerBI, or Looker As provided in NetSpend's Background Check policy, eligible candidates may be subject to drug, criminal history, and credit checks, which will be conducted and used in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws This position may be based in either Austin, TX or remotely within the US. #LI-Remote Global Payments Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
