Job Description

Role: Java Architect

Duration: 6-12 months

Location: Bloomington, MN - hybrid 3 onsite/2 remote. 

 

This is a contract to hire. 

 

 

  • You will work with team members around the world to design and develop applications.
  • Find innovative solutions to real problems for real clients.
  • Mentor team members
  • You’ll be using some of the following technologies (depending on team placement):
    • Java · SQL Server · MongoDB · Datadog
    • AWS · Gradle · WildFly · RabbitMQ
    • Spring
    • Docker · Maven · Terraform · Angular · MySQL

What we’re looking for…

  • 10 years of experience in developing large scale Java Spring applications
  • 5 years of experience building microservice-based architectures.
  • Experience leveraging the Spring ecosystem.
  • Previous experience working with the Agile/Scrum Methodology
  • Experience working with Big Data
  • Experience developing for performance and scalability.
  • Familiarity with data mining concepts, ETL processes
  • Fluent in SQL and familiar with data modeling and data architecture concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in using build environments using Gradle, Maven, Ant, Jenkins or similar.
  • Proactive, self-directed, detail-oriented, independent worker with strong interpersonal skills
  • Application security implementation using identity management systems
  • Application integration technologies such as REST, Web Services, JMS
  • Other technologies such as HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP, MS SQL, MongoDB
