What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician - Saturdays position at Network Eye?
Network Eye is seeking to hire 3 ophthalmic technicians that will run our Diabetic Retinopathy screening program on Saturdays and potentially on weekend evenings. Our clinic is conveniently located in Westchase on the corner of Sheldon and Linebaugh.

Summary of Duties:
Confirm patient information, perform diabetic eye imaging test, send images through internet to artificial-intelligence reading software, and inform the patients of the test results
No prior experience with AI software needed – we will teach you everything! We are looking for an intelligent, independent, motivated, high-energy, friendly technicians with a willingness to learn.
Hours: 10am-4pm, minimum 2 Saturdays a month
Typical Physical Demands:
Requires prolonged standing, walking, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires excellent communication skills and a keen understanding of patients with sensory impairment. Must be able to express a caring attitude while performing the tasks required with accuracy and efficiency. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to perform necessary testing and reporting of findings.
