Join our team as the Manufacturing Intern.
Main Responsibilities:
· Performing tasks that relate to transferring an FDA approved novel portable MRI instrument from R&D to manufacturing.
· Evaluating sub-system readiness, problem-solving and documentation activities related to product transfer to manufacturing.
· Communicating and collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders to provide updates and provide task deliverables.
· Presenting a project you have been involved with and lessons learned to the organization.
Qualifications / Eligibility Requirements:
· University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to a degree-seeking academic program.
· Internship Work Period: Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12-week period starting May or June.
Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
· Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate / Master’s program in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
· Prior use of CAD to design mechanisms in SolidWorks is preferred.
· Strong communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
