Seeking a NURSE PRACTITIONER who can deliver medical care to a wide variety of patients with Neurological conditions.
*Responsibilities* :
- Under the supervision of the physician, serves in an expanded role to assess, diagnose and treat new and established neurology patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
- Demonstrates autonomy through patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care.
- Orders diagnostic testing as deemed necessary and remains proficient in interpreting results, gathering the data necessary in implementing the diagnostic and therapeutic plans of the physician.
- Prescribes appropriate medication regimens within the scope of practice of the physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
- Communicates appropriately with patients and referring health care providers.
- Manages inpatients as required and assists in the smooth, efficient operation of the outpatient clinic.
The successful candidate will possess a good work ethic, is eager to learn Neurology and will assist in delivering premium care to each and every patient.
*Requirements:* NCCPA Certification / Strong customer service skills and computer skills
*Salary:* Competitive base salary plus production bonus. CME, paid vacation, medical insurance and mal-practice insurance fully covered.
