Job Posting for Boiler Technician at New AHF Colors-Please Use this
Essential Functions of the Job: Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
Trains new and existing Boiler Operators as new members join the team and system upgrades necessitate new training needs
Responsible for dust capacity optimization, management and troubleshooting.
Manages steam supply to downstream users
Leads troubleshooting efforts of the boilers
Operates boilers and dust system as needed
Performs 5S and TPM as needed
Documents changes/fluctuations in operations and prioritizes those fluctuations that need to be addressed.
Operates boilers and kilns and monitors the activity of these systems.
Records and adjusts hourly instrumental readings. Analyzes trends to improve efficiency of performance.
Tracks downtime and completes OE data collection
Responsible for shutting down boiler in abnormal conditions in a proper and safe manner
Monitors chemicals and softeners as they enter the boiler operations.
Documents PH levels and conductivity in appropriate logbooks
QUALIFICATIONS:
H. S. Diploma / G.E.D
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing, production and distribution environment
