New Alternatives is seeking Residential Counselors to join the team. The position works with youth ages 13-18 who have been victims of childhood abuse. New Alternatives is a Trauma Informed Care facility which believes in helping to put an end to the generational cycle of abuse.

2 Shifts available:

Overnight: Monday - Sunday, 10pm-6am & Swing: Monday-Sunday - 2pm-10pm (Days to be determined by Supervisor)

* Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or related field

* Must possess a valid California Driver's License, proof of auto insurance and have access to reliable automobile

* At least one year experience with children (internship and volunteer work is acceptable)

* Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Provide support to the child and family

* Assist in coordination of transportation of youth within Orange county

* Capability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with child and family

* Maintain updated accurate daily log of services provide

* Computer literate; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications

Job Type: Full-time (or part time)

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
