Building and Grounds Director/Day Custodian

The school district of New Auburn seeks a committed and service oriented director of building and grounds/day custodian. This role will oversee all aspects of the district’s one building and attached athletic fields, as well as supervise the daily operations of the building. This includes overseeing the 2.5 night custodial staff, and the summer student crew, as well as, coordinating all outside maintenance vendors and procedures such as boiler maintenance, safety inspections, as well as all purchasing responsibility for the district. Additionally, as we are a small district, this role also includes all day time custodial duties such as cleaning up after lunch.

This position reports directly to the superintendent, with a starting salary of $46,500 minimum (negotiable upon experience) and includes a comprehensive benefit package including health insurance, dental insurance, Wisconsin retirement system, life insurance, paid vacation, LTD, and health retirement account.

New Auburn is a village of 550 people located about 30 minutes north of Eau Claire, the district is PreK-12 and serves approximately 295 students with roughly 40 certified staff, and 15 additional staff. We pride ourselves in having our staff be the local experts, and providing them with a voice in all decisions.
