Job Posting for Infant/Toddler Teacher at New Beginnings Day Care
Required Qualifications
CDA or higher
Ability to get on children's level
21 years of age
CPR and First Aid Certified or willingness to obtain (will train)
Preferred Qualifications
1 year experience in early childhood classrooms
Job Requirements
Work with children in groups or one on one, depending on the needs of children and the subject matter
Plan and carry out a Christian curriculum that targets different areas of child development, such as language, motor, and social skills
Organize activities so children can learn about the world, explore interests, and develop talents
Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom
Develop schedules and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime
Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring problems to the attention of Director and parents
Keep records of the students’ progress, routines, and interests, and keep parents informed about their child’s development
Participate in staff meetings in training events

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
