Position Overview

The Camp Health Officer is responsible to the Camp Director for working to maintain the overall health and safety of the Scouts, leaders, visitors, and staff in camp. The Health Office must possess a strong background in emergency care. the Health Officer should also understand or be willing to learn the basic procedures to be followed in the program and service areas of the camp in regard to the protection of the health and safety of those in camp.
Today’s summer camp staff are a diverse group of men and women sharing a dynamic career offering independence, achievement, and stability. This is a seasonal position (mid-June to the end of July).
