ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with other engineers to implement Infrastructure-as-code automation
- Document instructions on various aspects of DevOps pipeline development, implementation, and deployment best-practices
- Stays informed of the changing landscape around AWS, DevOps, and Deployment best practices
- Collaborate with other engineers to Implement solutions to automate CI/CD build, release and deploy processes utilizing AWS development tools
- Completes other duties as assigned by the DevOps Manager
“THE PERSON” | MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Actively enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
- Attention to detail, ability to establish and maintain working relationships with key internal personnel to work effectively
- Understanding the fundamentals of cloud-native architecture principles and services
- Have the desire to learn new technologies, share best practices, and contribute to the broader shared knowledge of a global infrastructure and DevOps team
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Understanding of core AWS products and concepts (CodePipeline, Lambda, IAM, ALB/NLB, S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, CloudWatch etc.)
KEY ATTRIBUTES:
- Passionate, positive, can-do attitude and can adapt to any challenge and willing to take ownership of problems and brings issues to full resolution
- Ability to collaborate in a team setting and independently when needed
- Self-motivated, logical thinker with good communication skills
ABOUT THE TEAM:
The DevOps team is responsible for building and maintaining an innovative engineering platform that will ship endless features to production for our users. Interns will be part of a product team that is focused on delivering highly scalable, multi-tenant applications and services for our cloud-based solutions and gain real-world DevOps engineering experience at a rapidly growing company.
