Paid Search Strategist

In this role, you will work with the rest of the Search team to determine the most important opportunities for our clients to drive their ROI. You will manage all paid campaigns primarily on Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta, as well as other search and display marketing platforms for your assigned portfolio of accounts.
The Day-to-Day
- You’ll collaborate with your internal account teams to drive effective, innovative, and cohesive inbound strategies.As a paid advertising subject matter expert, you’ll partner within your portfolio of B2B accounts to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and increase customers.
- You’ll provide strategic recommendations and execute paid social, search, display, and video strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, and other facets of digital media in accordance with client goals.
- You’ll proactively monitor performance, adjust bids and budgets, and test/iterate to generate leads and results.
- Develop performance reports to track and analyze website analytics and paid advertising campaigns’ effectiveness.
- Track campaign expenses and client cross-channel budgets to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper spend levels daily and monthly.
- Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the content team to create high-quality content using inbound methodologies to target relevant keywords.
Within 30 Days You Will
- Participate in our robust New Breed onboarding process and role-based training. We’re excited to support your success starting Day 1.
- Dig into our tech stack and get established with our search and paid advertising tools.
- Get to know the SEO and Paid Search team plus our broader Services team members.
- Learn the ropes from your senior team members while shadowing them on client calls and completing client work with their guidance.
- Post onboarding and shadowing, you’ll begin to build your own account portfolio.
Within 60 Days You Will
- Have a portfolio of client projects to review/optimize existing campaigns and further develop strategy for upcoming priorities.
- Join client calls to lead the review of campaign performance and recommendations.
- Support clients directly on:
- Developing a paid search campaign strategy
- Executing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns
- Reporting and analytics
- Project managing Paid Premier Services accounts
Within 1 Year You Will
- Work with your manager to identify and develop new continued learning and training opportunities.
- Improve process inefficiencies to improve the client journey and internal productivity.
- Actively contribute to New Breed’s blog highlighting thought leadership in paid advertising.
Who You Are
- You have 2-3 years of proven work in PPC / digital media for both Paid Search and Paid Social. ABM/Programmatic knowledge is a plus!
- You have demonstrated experience in digital media planning, managing, and optimizing resulting in high ROI, conversion rates, or other KPIs.
- You have successfully managed paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta.
- You’re proficient in measuring PPC efforts using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager.
- You possess strong and prompt communication skills to ensure seamless coordination among team members and stakeholders.
- You have superior time management abilities to meet high-volume deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of other acquisition and retention channels, including but not limited to: organic social media, email marketing, content marketing, and CRO.
Where You’ll Work
You'll work fully remotely from one of these states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, or Vermont.
If you’re local to Burlington, VT you can spend your day on our state-of-the-art campus on the shores of Lake Champlain. We offer in-office, fully remote, and hybrid work options for all team members.
