What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Supervisor position at New Concept Dental?
We offer a $500 sign on bonus! We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor for our multi-dental practice group to join our growing team! This team member will have strong knowledge of the A/R process and be able to successfully manage a small team of Accounts Receivable Specialists. In addition, proficiency in posting of insurance payments, patient payments, review and processing patient accounts for billing, and strong knowledge of insurance claim submission and follow-up is key. The ideal candidate will have experience with high volume accounts receivable, have strong computer skills, and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. Experience with Dentrix dental practice management software is highly preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise a small team of employees
- Manage the A/R functions of the office
- Accurately post insurance payments to patient accounts
- Research and resubmit denied insurance claims
- Post patient payments accurately to accounts
- Generate, review and send patient billing statements
- Submit insurance claims through electronic claims processing software
- Reconcile payments
- Review accounts and maintain collections program
- Maintain A/R process of claims submission, processing, and follow-up
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum one year relevant accounts receivable experience
- Works well in team environment; yet be self directed in work
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time management and organization skills
- High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
- Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
- Excellent telephone skills
- Strong computer and internet skills
- Minimum two years relevant dental accounts receivable experience
