We are currently seeking a full time Assistant Project Manager to add to our team of professionals.
Please note that this Assistant Project Manager position is a supervisory-level, autonomous role requiring considerable time, effort, professionalism, communication, independence, ingenuity, collaboration, and efficiency. The individual filling this role must be willing and able to fulfill the entire suite of duties, goals, and responsibilities of this position with little to no daily guidance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversight of project operations
- Continuous coordination and communication with company management and client representatives
- Management, training and supervision of project staff
- Management of project equipment and vehicles
- Management and execution of project goals and budgets
- Fulfillment of project reporting and monitoring requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous management experience reuquired
- Significant experience managing operations involving construction equipment, dredging operations, farm operations and/or commercial trucking/logistics
- Must be highly capable using computers and software (including Microsoft Office products)
- Must be able to regularly and effectively communicate with clients, customers and stakeholders
- Must have a reasonably high degree of mechanical aptitude
- Highly motivated with strong time management, organization, and communication skills.
- Willing to travel 10% for training, assistance with project start-ups, etc.
- Willing to work overtime as required to fulfill the responsibilities and duties of the position
- Must live within 20 minutes of Beaumont, MS
- Willing and able to occasionally perform physically demanding tasks in the extreme weather conditions found in the southern climates
