We are currently seeking a full time Project Director to add to our team of professionals. This position will work out of the companies Savannah office.
Please note that this Project Director position is a supervisory-level, autonomous role requiring considerable time, effort, professionalism, independence, ingenuity, collaboration, and efficiency. The individual filling this role must be willing and able to fulfill the entire suite of duties, goals, and responsibilities of this position with little to no daily guidance. This position will require extensive communication with company management and employees as well as client representatives, vendors, service providers, equipment manufacturers and many other entities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Daily management and oversight of all project operations
- Continuous coordination and communication with company management and client representatives
- Management, training and supervision of all project staff
- Management and routine maintenance of all project equipment and vehicles.
- Management and execution of all relevant project goals and budgets
- Fulfillment of all project reporting and monitoring requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of project management experience
- Significant experience managing operations involving heavy equipment and commercial semi-trucks
- Must be able to regularly and effectively communicate with clients, customers and stakeholders
- Must have a reasonably high degree of mechanical aptitude
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Highly motivated with strong time management, organization, and communication skills.
- Willing to travel 5% for training, assistance with project start-ups, etc.
- Willing to work overtime as required to fulfill the responsibilities and duties of the position
- Must live within 30 minutes of the project location
- Willing and able to occasionally perform physically demanding tasks in the extreme weather conditions found in the northern climates
