New England Cancer Specialists (NECS) is looking for a Full time 5 day a week Project Manager in our Scarborough Clinic. The Project Manager will provide support in the planning, implementation and tracking of assigned projects to ensure successful development, completion and implementation. They will be responsible for creating project plans, allocating resources, developing budgets, monitoring progress, removing barriers, achieving milestones and communicating with key stakeholders. The Project Managerment positon is Hybrid must be within driving distance to our Scarborough office.
NECS is a private medical practice composed of 18 oncologists and hematologists serving the region from 5 different locations in Maine and New Hampshire. Experience and Skills:
- Ability to quickly assimilate, assess and act upon project status changes
- Demonstrated experience simultaneously managing multiple complex initiatives crossing organizational boundaries
- Ability to think systemically and understand the implications of policies and practices
- Effectively use analytical skills in order to develop and analyze options, recommend solutions to and solve complex problems and issues

- Computer proficiency in PC based software applications: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
- Must be energetic, forward-thinking with a positive and professional image
Education & Experience Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Health Care Administration, Project Management, Business Administration or other similar area
- 3-5 years of work experience in health care setting required
- Project management experience required, with knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management techniques and tool
- PMP Certification required or obtained within 1 year of hire.
