What are the responsibilities and job description for the Light Packager position at New Hire Solutions?
Ocilla, GA | Temp | $9.50 / Hourly
We are searching for a light packager to ensure smooth and proper boxing and transportation preparation of our product. You will be supporting the overall operations of the Ocilla plant. This includes performing your duties in a plant environment. You will be exposed to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, or chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up packaging equipment
- Prepare and stage all materials for packaging line
- Stack product on pallets based on required standards
- Operate stretch wrap equipment
- Aid other employees and the manager in additional duties
Experience and Education
- High School Diploma or GED
Requirements
- Lift and move up to 50lbs
- Stand for long periods of time
- Be able to see and hear well
- Wear and maintain proper PPE including steel toed boots
- Work in extreme temperatures
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Have good reading and writing skills in English
- Work well with others and individually
- Be able to work overtime when required, including weekends and holidays
- Organization and attention to detail
Location: Ocilla, Georgia
Pay: $9.50 / Hourly
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00p.m., swing shifts
