What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Case Manager-Crisis Stabilization Unit position at New Horizons Mental Health Services?

We are currently seeking Mental Health Case Managers for full-time positions at the STARlight Center, a new Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) opening in Lancaster, Ohio!
The STARlight center will be the first CSU in Fairfield County, offering voluntary stabilization, treatment, and recovery services 24/7 for individuals who need immediate or urgent mental health or substance abuse assistance.
What will you do?
Overall responsibilities for this position include:
- Provide primary and secondary services to adults with Severe Mental Disorders (SMD’s) at risk or in urgent/crisis situations.
- Assist with assessment and monitoring of adults with SMD’s, and assist with crisis stabilization.
- Teach and model skills, provide resources and coordination with additional services.
