Job Description
The Department of Labor and Workforce Development (DOL) provides many benefits to employees to acknowledge and value

months of employment), Alternate Workweek Program (determined by division), and employee training.
Under the direction of the Chief of Business Services, or other Supervisory level staff within the Business Services unit of the
New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, has regional responsibility for conducting the office and field
work associated with new and existing On-the-Job Training programs (OJT) through the One-Stop Career Center (OSCC) field
offices. This includes determining customer and employer program eligibility, as well as planning and coordinating employer
engagement outreach strategy with corresponding Business Services Representative, documents the OJT contractual
relationship and ensures completed data entry into identified systems, maintains all contractual agreements through the
contract life cycle, including closeout. Will serve as a partner to local area Business Reps for delivery of State public workforce
system employer engagement services. This can include assistance in recruitment and retention services. Does related work.
Civil Service Commission Requirements (Education/Experience/Licenses)
Open to employees of the State of New Jersey who are currently permanent in a competitive title and who meet the open
competitive requirements below.
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience in the development, implementation or coordination of a multi-phase employment
and training program in a large public or private agency.
NOTE: A Master's degree in Political Science, Education, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Public Administration or Human
Resource Development may be substituted for one (1) year of the indicated experience.
NOTE: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional experience as indicated on a year for
year basis.
