Essential Functions –
- The FP&A Finance Business Partner/Financial Analyst, will be responsible for the day-to-day financial planning and business partnering with business leaders on scenario planning and strategic initiatives at NJII.
- This includes financial modeling, analysis of key financial metrics, and executive-level presentations.
- The FP&A Finance Business Partner will report to the CFO and work with senior leaders throughout the organization.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives, capital investments, and restructuring initiatives.
- Design and maintain financial models to support decision-making related to potential acquisitions and strategic initiatives.
- Complete ad hoc reports as required for development of trending and metrics to support the overall performance of projects and grant related programs.
- Develop and maintain long-term financial plan and KPIs for NJII and each of its business/divisional segments.
- Lead ad hoc financial analyses requested by department leadership and support the CFO on other projects as needed.
- Utilize financial analysis techniques, thorough research, and scenario planning to analyze project finance Return on Investment (ROI) and provide recommendations.
- Build cross-functional relationships and provide strategic finance partnership to leadership across the organization.
- Play an integral role in enhancing and maintaining integrated financial statements, systems, and tools to support organizational decision-making
Prerequisite Qualifications –
- 5 or more years of experience, including experience in the areas of financial modeling, budgeting, and business partnering.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in finance or accounting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and presentation skills including advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights, and manage multiple work streams and adjust priorities as needed in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

- Strong business acumen and understanding of key drivers of business performance.
