The Fabrication Team Lead will lead employees in the assembly areas. Models policies and procedures; and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. When performing direct duties the Line Lead Machine Operator III will operate various machines; including laser, press brake, saw, shear, and punch. Performs a wide variety of machine operations required for the fabrication of steel parts and assemblies using a variety of steel fabrication equipment. Maintains equipment in a safe and clean condition and performs other duties in support of successful plant operations and customer satisfaction.
This position requires both direct labor producing product and indirect labor consisting of administrative, training, quality or other duties. The ratio between the direct and indirect labor will likely vary.

Handles hazardous waste according to company policy and participates in annual hazardous waste training.
