Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide, from start to finish, the detailed plan and logistical implementation of Parent Ministry meetings and events.
- Responsibilities include setting up, tearing down, cleaning up and organizing parenting events; ordering and picking up (as needed) food and beverage supplies.
- Coordinate monthly core staff birthday celebrations
- Provide the back-end systems and structures to pull off meetings/events efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain files relating to events, meetings and programs for future references.
- Help schedule and maintain Parent Ministry volunteer schedules.
- Ensure all necessary items are ordered and purchased for parent ministry events/meetings.
- Ensure the parenting room (room 246) cabinets are organized and well utilized and supplies well stocked.
- Coordinate weekly Sunday morning prayer schedule; send outlook calendar invites.
- Ensure Family Ministries Parent Connect area is neat and ready for guests for weekend services.
- Work closely with Fam Min Operations and Creative to ensure we have appropriate signs and dropcards for Parenting events (Parent Orientation, Spiritual Parenting, Child Dedication and Child Dedication class, How to Study the Bible for Parents, Foundations of Faith for Parents, Parent Conference). Pick up signs and drop cards from vendors (as needed).
- Assist Family Ministries department with additional projects to include but not limited to: Desperation and Kids Camp prep, etc.
- Support and participate in Family Ministries events such as Family Nights, Parenting Conference, Kids Camp, Desperation Student Ministry.
- Assist in the reconciliation of Family Ministries credit card expenses once/month.
- Assist the Family Ministries Discipleship Pastor with the implementation of all parent discipleship classes Parent Orientation, Spiritual Parenting, Child Dedication receptions, Child Dedication class, How to Study the Bible for Parents and Foundation of Faith for Parents.
- Help keep Executive Family Ministries Pastor’s fridge stocked (once a month).
- Assist to help keep Executive Kitchen area organized and supplies stocked (once/twice a year)
- Assist with weekend service shifts.
- Be friendly and warm, willing to lend a hand to others, serving with a Christ-like attitude.
- Demonstrate ongoing financial support of New Life Church.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and additional meetings when requested.
- Work in close association with the entire staff to build and maintain a strong team environment and complete the work necessary to fully serve and support the ministries of New Life Church.
- Cooperate with the Executive Family Ministries Pastor and Family Ministries Discipleship Pastor to perform any other duties when asked to do so.

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: prior administrative experience preferred, but not required

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to sit and occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally life and or move up to 25 pounds.

Salary : $15 - $17
