As a full-time office administrator, you will support the ministry's vision and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and utilize specific tools, programs, and skills to produce timely outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize specific tools and programs: You will be responsible for mastering and utilizing specific tools and programs relevant to our daily operations. These may include but are not limited to project management software, communication tools, fundraising platforms, database systems, and productivity suites.
- Data management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the organization's database system. Ensure data integrity, perform regular audits, and generate reports as needed. Develop processes to facilitate data entry and retrieval, ensuring accessibility and security.
- Training and support: Train and support staff members in effectively using tools and programs. Conduct workshops or create training materials to equip team members with the necessary skills to utilize these resources efficiently.
- Internal process optimization: Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement within the organization. Use your knowledge of tools and programs to suggest and implement solutions that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Compliance and documentation: Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Assist in creating and maintaining documentation related to administrative processes.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the Office Director
Skills Needed:
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking are necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume office environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and leadership.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent word processing skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, Apple iWork, Google Docs)
- Knowledge and comfort with cloud-based collaboration tools (e.g., Google Drive)
- Familiarity with office equipment and tools (e.g., e-calendars, printers, labelers, video conferencing)
- Always represent the organization positively and professionally.

What will put you ahead:
3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a non-profit organization
Experience with Adobe Suite
Experience with serving on a church staff or in the non-profit sector.
High technological acumen, as daily work requires technology use.
