Job Description: Eating Disorders Yoga Teacher Department: Partial Hospitalization
New Oakland Family Centers provides comprehensive behavioral health and substance abuse services for consumers across various counties in Michigan, in both, outpatient and partial hospitalization settings.

Schedule: Full-time or Part-time
Reports To: President / Clinical Director / Clinical Supervisor
Compensation: Salary or Hourly Employee, Commensurate with experience, or Contractual
Position Summary:
The FACE to FACE Eating Disorders Yoga Teacher is a role comprised of multiple responsibilities related to the FACE to FACE Partial Hospitalization and Eating Disorders Programs. This group-focused position will require working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide the highest quality of care to consumers in an acute setting.

Essential Duties / Functions:
- Teach yoga groups to consumers in the FACE to FACE Partial Hospitalization and Eating Disorders Programs in accordance with professional standards and policies/procedures of the facility.
- Incorporate healthy and very mild movement as part of recovery.
- Provides skill development and enhancement to individuals and groups in accordance with professional standards and policies/procedures of the facility.
- Follow treatment plans using a person-centered process.
- Ability to resolve all crisis situations appropriately.
- Complete documentation as required by the clinic’s policies/procedures.
- Actively participate as a positive member of the clinic environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent with Registered Yoga Teacher Certification required. Must have at least 1 year of mental health experience. Must be able to work well with all populations including children, adolescents, and adults. Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), who has experience working with consumers with eating disorders and training in trauma-informed yoga.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor, Master’s or Doctoral degree and valid clinical licensure in social work, professional counseling, or psychology. One to two years of mental health therapy experience, including group therapy and eating disorders treatment. Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and certified Yoga Therapist by the IAYT with extensive training in trauma-informed yoga.
