$24.00 TO $25.00 per hour, depending on experience; 40 hours per week
Full-Time, Union position
Responsible for providing professional energy efficiency audit and building analysis services to support the DOE Weatherization Program. Travel to various work sites to meet customers and audit assigned properties. Establish a rapport with customers to develop a positive relationship to gather house data and measurements. Conduct audit, complete questionnaires, checklists and perform tests to determine measures needed. Conduct visual site audits, take measurements, gather data. Complete reports and propose measures. Ensure that any assigned reports are completed and submitted in a timely and accurate manner. Enter data into NEAT DOE software within 24 hours. Create Excel spreadsheets for cost splitting between DOE and public utilities. Produce and distribute work orders to contractors. Conduct job oversight of contractors to ensure all described measurers are to standard and timeline is met. Ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations and guidelines are adhered to at all times. Ensure that all NOI policies, rules and guidelines are followed. Attend meetings as required. Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School diploma/GED/trade school in building construction trade, college degree preferred. Similar combination of education and experience may be considered. Three years experience in the construction trades, general working knowledge of construction, insulation and building science principles, estimating or site auditing experience is preferred.
