What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Coordinator position at New Relic?

Your Opportunity

We are looking for a super-organized and motivated Office Coordinator to support our San Francisco office. The Office Coordinator will support the tactical day-to-day operations of our New Relic office.

You are detailed and process oriented, motivated and take pride in the appearance and care of our office for employees, guests, and vendors. As a member of the Real Estate & Workplace Operations team, your primary focus is to provide excellent customer service to our employees and anyone who visits the office.

What You’ll Do

  • Support calendar management; help book large spaces and last minute requests; support Global Events Manager with booking space for internal and external meetups
  • Support occupancy planning; coordinating and facilitating occupancy changes and various office projects
  • Daily floor walks and conference room resets as needed
  • Run office supply program including inventory review, stocking and ordering
  • Work with building management to submit work orders for repairs & maintenance
  • Respond to incoming requests utilizing internal ticketing system; Zendesk
  • Event and catering coordination
  • Provide reception coverage as needed
  • Provide overall office support to Office Manager on special projects as assigned

Your Qualifications

Must-have:

  • 2 years of experience in an office support role
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent written and face-to-face communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Be proficient in Google Suite
  • Ability to work effectively within deadlines
  • Are able to lift up to 25 lbs
Nice-to-have:
  • Zendesk software knowledge
  • Experience using Mac computers
