Our programs offer a model that blends the personalized and evidence based medical care to address substance use disorder needs in a peaceful, caring small setting of a 6-bed facility located in Livermore, CA. As a new program and facility, we are committed that our residents receive individualized care including detoxification from substances abuse as well as high caliber residential level of treatment. We plan to utilize the latest research and strategies for those suffering from the variety of Substance use disorder. Our treatment setting is intimate with emphasis on individual therapy and highly individualized treatment.
Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Professional to join our multidisciplinary team as Full Time Clinical Program Manager at New Skies Treatment Center in Livermore, CA.
The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for the overall clinical quality of our treatment program. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring quality care, continuous quality improvement, appropriate staffing, and budget responsibility. This position is responsible for overseeing all matters related to clinical programming of the facility to further enhance our clients’ experiences.
- Clinical Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of the program
- Manage and provide quality care, ensure safety and operation of the 6-bed residential program
- Assist in admissions, clinical assessments, risks assessments, and developing initial safety plans.
- Provide supervision and training to the clinical and admin staff. Conduct regular meetings to provide supervision and guidance.
- Update policies and procedures to ensure organizational goals and priorities are aligned.
- Build and develop collaborative team to manage operations, staffing models. Identify and support development of the staff with training/ coaching.
- Build collaborative relationships with local community resources, organizations, and social services agencies.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health or Addiction medicine setting in a leadership role.
- Able to oversee clinical staff, programs and processes for patient admissions/intake, utilization review, discharges, and coordination of care with insurance carriers.
- Must work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
- Prior experience with Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and Joint Commission standards is a big plus.
- Ability to manage budgets using KPIs (key performance indicators) is preferred.
- Employment selection and performance management experience is especially helpful.
- Hold (or be eligible for) license as Psychologist, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, LICSW, or equivalent.
- Must hold BLS/CPR prior to starting work; we can arrange training if needed.
- Must be able to pass Background checks
