General Description: Thoroughly wash garbage truck assembly and parts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- In an efficient manner, use pressure washer to produce a clean quality finish by following chemical guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation process (tacking, masking and hanging parts).
- Works with supervisor to set and maintain weekly wash schedule.
- Complete tests and LOA data to ensure process meets required standards and make adjustments as needed.
- Operate forklift to move around garbage truck assemblies.
- Work with the safety department to ensure safe working conditions relative to the washing process.
- Manage waste materials in compliance with OSHA, EPA and DNR.
- Inspect own work and make corrections if needed. Once finished, complete inspection forms.
OTHER DUTIES
- Good communication.
- Clean and maintain an orderly work area.
- Bi-weekly titration testing.
- Other duties as assigned.
