The Marketing Coordinator will provide administrative, marketing and operational support to assigned business units that deliver marketing communications across divisions of New York Blood Center Enterprises. The role assists with coordinating donor promotions, engagement, recognition activities, community partnerships, and volunteer activities. Exceptional organization, communication, and project management skills are required, along with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Receive, track and manage new and ongoing marketing collateral and signage projects for NYBCe from request through to completion
- Manage relationships with NYBCe department contacts and be a reference point for questions or concerns relating to marketing materials
- Assist with the production of collateral and merchandise, liaise with vendors and colleagues to meet deadlines and manage inventory records
- Pack, distribute and manage marketing materials, collateral, signage, and decorations to donor centers and blood drives
- Pack and distribute marketing campaign merchandise items
- Fulfillment of NYBCe sweepstakes prizes
- Raise purchase orders and process invoices for payment to vendors
- Review the marketing budget and ensure charges are correctly coded and within a defined budget
- Support production planning including critical collections planning and be responsive to emergency needs
- Assist with the planning and preparation of marketing related events and activities
- Manage emails and communication resolving moderate to complex donor questions and concerns within a defined timeframe
- Manage relationships with external vendors such as printers and caterers
- Assist with community outreach initiatives
- Assist with preparing reports, files, and other materials for analytical purposes
- Use project management and communication applications to organize and manage assignments
- Act as brand champion and ensure brand consistency across all channels.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a program of marketing, business, communications or another related field.
Experience:
- Two years demonstrated work experience in related field.
For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hourly salary is $28.00/hr. to $32.00/hr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant's skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
