Program Coordinator Bridge to Offshore Wind Program

The City Tech campus of the CUNY OWAN (Offshore Wind Advisory Network) is seeking an exceptional, energetic and creative part time program coordinator for a 3 year grant-funded project in which we will bring an overview of the Offshore Wind industry to the community.
You will work collaboratively with our partner campuses, LaGuardia, Kingsborough, and College of Staten Island to organize presentations of the Bridge to Offshore Wind presentation that is prepared and ready. As the coordinator, you will use social media and other tools to outreach acrosss the five boroughs, manage registrants, engage OSW industry presenters, ensure that all runs smoothly, and manage data for reporting to funders.

Bridge to Offshore Wind was designed to create access to employment in the offshore wind industry. As a part of this initiative, we inform individuals about certificates and degrees at City Tech and in CUNY that can provide an affordable pathway to in demand jobs that will reduce the effects of climate change. "Bridge" is designed and ready to present. You, the coordinator, will make the presentations

  • Be able to identify an engagement strategy and implement it to grow our network
  • Create online metric forms
  • Attract priority population student and community applicants
  • Communicate with students, instructors, City Tech faculty
  • Coordinate each Bridge to Offshore Wind event
  • Ensure that funding metrics are met ( number of people trained)
  • Aggregate data for reporting

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 19 per week
