Position Overview:
The purpose of this role is to join the video vertical on the Content team and help lead production for all New York City Football Club owned and operated channels. Working with the Senior Manager, Video and leading a growing team of producers, this role will play a crucial part in maturing Club storytelling and taking NYCFC’s video proposition to new heights.

This role will primarily be focused on shooting and editing for the first team of NYCFC, but there will be additional responsibilities on the project management side, so the successful candidate should have a strong attention to detail and be adaptable with excellent communication skills to work collaboratively cross departmentally.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Play a leading role in the delivery of creative innovative video content for our owned media platforms and manage projects across the video vertical of NYCFC’s Content team
- Along with another video producer, play the role of point person with our first team at CFA, at home games, and on the road to cover the club during the day-to-day.
- Spearhead creative around tentpole moments and events.
- Lead team coverage, as well as a team of shooters, on first-team match days.
- Aid in the development of new content series and episodic franchises.
- Help maintain and manage the club’s production equipment and identify needs.
- Initiate and lead ideation and storytelling across the Club, helping grow connection and audience size through innovative video content.
- Proactivity in owning creative projects including ideating unique concepts, developing production plans, gathering input from stakeholders, scheduling, filming, and post-production work.
- Use innovative techniques with developing out content to grow reach and maximize value of video assets created by the Club’s in-house team.
- Ideate, shoot and edit videos for internal and external stakeholders, as well as partners, to an exceptional standard.
- Collaborate in the design of 2D/3D animations for digital content as well as new, creative approaches to graphic design and video techniques.
- Capitalize on current social media trends by shooting and editing channel-specific content.
- Have finger to the pulse on the social space to spot opportunities for engagement, working with the Publishing vertical to deliver short form video assets for owned channels.
- Adhere to deadlines internally, for partner content, and for AppleTV deliverables.
- Ideate and create content that organically weaves in corporate partner messaging and objectives to create value for the sponsor, the club, and the fanbase.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Experience working with professional athletes and establishing a relationship with coaches and sporting executives.

- Directing shoots, lighting scenes to broadcast standards.
- Experience roadmapping and managing deadlines.
- Must have excellent communication skills and strong understanding of brand awareness
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
- Spanish language a must
Desirable:
- Adobe After Effects experience
- Excellent editing skills on Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience shooting on Mirroless, DSLR, or Digital Cine Cameras or equivalent
- Graphic design and/or animation experience.
- Shoot management experience
- Directed audio and voiceover sessions
- Strong knowledge of U.S. soccer, MLS and international game
- Experience working with professional athletes
Additional Requirements:

COMPENSATION:
This non-exempt position has an estimated annual base salary range of $65,000-$72,000 and is overtime eligible. Final compensation offer amounts are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors such as certifications and software expertise.
