We are the nation's oldest and most robust mutual insurance and investment company, committed to offering clients a diverse range of solutions and steadfast service.

By becoming part of New York Life, you will acquire essential insurance and investment licenses, engage in our thorough paid training program, become proficient in our systems and products, and develop your business portfolio as an insurance agent and registered investment representative.


We offer an industry-leading compensation and benefits package with abundant opportunities for success and advancement within the Company. Holding current ND or MN insurance and/or investment licenses is a plus but not necessary.

Compensation:

$80,000 - $95,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

  • Secure licenses for selling securities and investment products for wealth management and advanced planning
  • Improve your professional skills and knowledge through the New York Life training curriculum
  • Develop and employ marketing and business plans to grow your client base
  • Prospect and contact potential clients to discuss their financial needs and concerns
  • Deliver responsible business planning, insurance, and retirement education via options for high-quality life insurance, fixed annuities, securities, long-term care insurance, and other related products

Qualifications:
  • Good business acumen
  • Willing to learn
  • A growth mindset as well as experience in sales is strongly preferred
  • Ability to articulate complicated concepts using superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage your community and leverage personal networks and contacts
  • Uncompromising integrity and responsibility required
  • Holding current ND or MN insurance and/or investment licenses is a plus but not necessary
