Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability consistent with just-in-time inventory requirements.
- Create and issue all day to day purchase orders (approved order requisitions), negotiating price and delivery where applicable. File all requisitions and purchase orders after the issuance of the order.
- Conduct a weekly review of open purchase order roster and expedite orders giving preference to those that are past due.
- Work to minimize on-hand inventory.
- Review and issue all debit memos as they arise for the business unit in which the agent is positioned for.
- Call in outside service contractors for business unit’s service calls as requested.
- Work with Quality Control to help qualify new potential suppliers.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or four to ten years related experience and/or training.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
