Working under the supervision of the Controller, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing and posting entries, month-end statement reconciliations, maintaining fixed assets, managing sales tax and other tax reporting requirements, job cost set up, and cash disbursements. The Accountant will also help in other Accounting related duties as they arise.This person should have:*A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (Preferred) or minimum of 5 years previous experience in the Accounts Payable Field.Knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and Audit reporting requirements.Strong Computer and Data Software skills, with specific experience or ability to work with Excel and any standard ERP system.Knowledge of General Office Procedures and PracticesAbility to initiate, plan and perform a wide variety of dutiesAbility to work additional hours periodicallyAbility to remain flexible in an ever-changing environment.Highly organized and outgoing.Work hours would be 8-5 Monday - Friday, some travel may apply.Salary dependent on experience.Click Apply Today!
