Job Posting for Development Officer(Remote Friendly) at new
Applications are being accepted by the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation for the position of Development Officer. This position will develop and strengthen relationships with current fund holders as assigned. The Development Officer will provide prospect management by identifying, cultivating and soliciting gifts; leading one-on-one consultations; and advising on best practices in philanthropic giving.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required.
Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) preferred.
Minimum five years of experience with and knowledge of nonprofit development; foundation and fund management experience preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of how to build a major donor pipeline and implement best practices of donor stewardship.
Record of securing gifts and commitments from major donors.
