Job Description
CACI is seeking a cleared Electronics Technician III for our program located in Fayetteville, NC. If you are want to work with a motivated team to coordinate the integration and production of systems in support of our Armed Forces, CACI would like to speak with you.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Perform integration and testing of SATCOM equipment.
- Open work orders and coordinate the return (RMA) of systems and/or equipment requiring Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) repair, and/or local vendor replacement
- Inform management immediately of any situation which would hinder timely completion of your tasks.
- Assist with the Maintenance Section and/or other departments as requested
- Maintain established procedures and standards, and verbally and in writing communicate results and document findings accurately
- Perform tasks alone without assistance
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- An Active Secret Clearance
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communication, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program.
- Formal electronics training, to include: Installation tasks, soldering, cable dressing, cable tray, conduit and making/repairing connectors.
- Be able to lift 40 lbs. unassisted.
- Eight (8) years of practical experience, to include: Electronics Repair, Maintenance,Installation and Checkout. Two (2) years of experience, to include: supervision, and shop practices. Three (3) years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair and installation, and six (6) years of experience with Joint Warfighter C5ISR systems. Note: Experience may be concurrent.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Previous SATCOM, software imaging/configuration and networking experience
- MS Outlook/Word/Project/Visio/PowerPoint
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment within a mandatory schedule.
