You will estimate accurate calculations of all costs required to produce metal parts, weldments, and assemblies according to customer blueprints and specifications using the most efficient manufacturing processes and material purchases.
Estimate calculations of costs required to produce metal parts, weldments & assembliesaccording to blueprints. Monitor quote back log. Analyze & define productionmethods to produce parts. Review jobs to determine, improve or remedy difficultiesin production methods. Achieve competitive quotes. Determine outside vendors toestablish production cost.Requirements: 3-5 years’ experience Estimating metal fabrication or working in arelated position. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. Strong computerand math skills. Knowledge of various metals and the workability of materials.Familiarity fabricating and welding equipment.
