DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor in Niagara Falls, NY is looking for a Project Engineer Intern to support our remediation projects for the Summer of 2021. Only local candidates to each site will be considered, there is no relocation available.
Responsibilities include assisting the Project Manager with review of construction drawings and specifications, vendor procurement, development of progress schedules, project record keeping and documentation and environmental quality control functions. Only residents local to the job locations will be considered.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Completed Degree in Engineering, or presently enrolled in an Engineering Program. Civil Engineering degree program preferred but will also consider environmental or construction related. Hazardous waste remediation experience or training is a plus, but not required. Position might involve initial orientation and training at the Corporate Office prior to placement at a field job site.
