Software Engineering Manager, Systems Infrastructure, FactSet Research Systems, Inc. U.S. Norwalk, CT: Manages a team of software engineers &/or projects within Systems Infrastructure. Minimum Requirements: BA, or higher, or foreign equivalent, in CS or related technical field & 2 years of software engineering industry experience with Linux, VMS, C++14 (STL, Boost), Bash, Python 2/3, Web frameworks (Flask-Gunicorn). Must have experience with Object Oriented Programming, Multi-threaded programming, Distributed Systems, Service Routing, Load Balancing, Process Management Infrastructure for large number of web-services, TCP/IP (3 way handshake and state transitions), HTTP 1.0/1.1, PostgreSQL, HTTP authentication, RFC definitions of HTTP methods, idempotent methods, persistent connections, chunked transfer encoding, Virtual IPs, Wide IPs, Jenkins, Amazon Web Services (AWS), AWS Route53, AWS EC2 services, AWS Identity & Access management. Must also have full software engineering life cycle experience.
