We are seeking applications for a part-time, energetic, Activity Aide for our skilled nursing facility to assist the Activity Director with planning and implementation of individual and group activities. If you enjoy spending time with the elderly and engaging them in purposeful activities, then this is a position for you. Applicants with previous experience in long-term care such as Certified Nurse Aides and Direct Support Professionals who are enthusiastic about interacting with the elderly will also be considered. Hours would be Tuesdays and Thursdays, six (6) hours/day, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Patience and compassion when dealing with others, especially those who are sick, injured, elderly, or from different backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments.
