Title: Executive Assistant Location: Bentonville, AR Reports to: SVP/GM, Walmart & Sam's Club Job Summary Newell Brands is seeking an Executive Assistant who will support our SVP/GM, Walmart & Sam's Club. The ability to handle day-to-day support duties, including (but not limited to) complex calendar management, travel arrangement, meeting arrangements, expense reporting, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel Spreadsheets, etc. is essential. The ideal capabilities of this candidate include, but are not limited to: •Excellent organization and project management skills with keen attention to detail •Professional oral/written communication skills; operating in a collaborative and team environment •Sound judgment in prioritizing work of self and executive •Creative and efficient problem solving with the ability to multi-task effectively •The ability to discreetly handle confidential information of major importance, such as company strategy, financial and personnel information •The ability to operate independently to complete high quality work and meet established goals •The ability to perform assigned duties with speed, accuracy and professionalism •Naturally inquisitive and highly proficient with technology; willingness to drive the use of technology to maximize our global connectivity Key Responsibilities: •Perform routine and complex administrative work •Handle processing of expense reports •Prepare and/or compile reports, using Word, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint •Assist with developing and proofreading presentations, reports, letters, etc. for accuracy, format, correct form and content; some of which are distributed to other executives •Develop and maintain organized filing system (paper and electronic) so that executive and assistant have information readily available as necessary •Assist in arranging complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries including large meetings •Must be knowledgeable of the current business climate and factors affecting the organization, proactively communicating issues or observations that will improve the success of the business •Coordinate catering and facilities set up for meetings •Coordinate cross-team meetings/calendars in support of team directors •Manage communications to include meeting minutes, team updates and Newell Now Qualifications : •High school degree required plus additional broad specialized training equivalent to 2 years of college •3-5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting to an executive level manager •General office management experience, strong computer skills, highly organized; efficient time management skills •Superior oral and written communication skills; judgment/problem solving skills; persuasive/sales ability; in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, FoodSaver, Calphalon, Sistema, Sharpie, Paper Mate, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer's, Yankee Candle, Graco, NUK, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Spontex, Coleman, Campingaz, Oster, Sunbeam and Mr. Coffee.
